Recap of what changed

Summary

Details
  • The roof line light were replaced with "Brilliant Bulb" pixels from HolidayCoro.com.
  • The icicles needed to be rebuilt because the original manufacturer of the mounting system no longer existed and we needed replacement gutter clips.  The new icicles are mounted on 57" sections of 1/2" PVC tubing painted brown to match the gutters.  Mounting clips from HolidayCoro.com are screwed in the gutters.  The cool white lights are the Philips 60 count from Target.  Layered with them are HolidayCoro Pixel Icicles.
  • All the pixels are controlled by a couple of 4 port AlphaPix controllers.  I've limited the output on the icicles to 40% to keep them inside the power supply budget of the controller.
  • The new sequences were purchased from Light-O-Rama.  We chose the "You Can Modify" versions.  Amelia did the Twelve Days of Christmas by Straight No Chaser adaptation.  Laura did all the rest.  And yes, there are now two versions of Twelve Days of Christmas.
  • Sequencing is done with the Light-O-Rama Showtime Suite Pro level.
  • We've retired the Costco white lights.  The ones on the bushes were replaced by white lights from Monoprice.com.  Last year the little red tree had "daylight white" lights and now it also has "cool white" lights.  The only officially "warm white" lights are on the star in the Mega-tree.  Sharp eyed viewers might notice slightly different colors on the white lights as they are come from different sources.
